Major Incident Training

Lifecare Medics major incident training takes place on a quarterly basis and we work with Surrey Fire & Rescue and Surrey Police Service to bring together all the emergency services to one scene.

The experience gained from the major incident training is invaluable to all of those involved and prepares staff to deal with such events if they ever occur.  With terrorism threats, major road traffic collisions and severe weather conditions, all of our staff must be able to adapt to these situations and have underpinning knowledge of how a major incident is run, and understand what their roles within a major incident would be

Every part of the scene is carefully set up to depict a real life experience and staff are briefed before the major incident commences and de-briefed at the end of the exercise.  Surrey Fire and Rescue certificate all staff that attend major incidents and these certificates can go towards staff career and development plans.
